Individuals
Work must be lawful and authorised. We explain plainly what we can help with, what we cannot, and what we need to check first – before you share anything sensitive.
We may be able to help with
- A device or account you own that behaves suspiciously
- Understanding software you own but no longer have source or support for
- Ransomware affecting a device or business you own or represent
We cannot help with
- Unauthorised access to someone else’s system or accounts
- Bypassing another person’s security or protections
- Surveillance of another person without lawful authority
We need to check first
- That you own the device or have authority to request the work
- What kind of device or software is involved
- How sensitive the matter is, at a high level only
Before you contact us
Do not describe a suspected offence, malware name, private dispute detail or personal records in the public form. We will ask only what is needed to check suitability.
